Culligan always sends information regarding my account, delivery schedule changes if any and has professional courteous drivers that are in and out in no time to change out my filters. In the SCV it’s a must to protect our appliances from hard water failure and at the same time have clean soft filtered drinking water.

The Best Water Softeners and Water Filters in Glendale, California.

With a combination of water resources, Glendale water quality often faces our share of water filtration and treatment issues:

In 2014, the California EPA released a report that set Glendale in the 62nd percentile compared to other Los Angeles County cities in terms of toxicity store as recommended by the state. Contaminants above the recommended goals included arsenic and chromium-6.

Glendale purchases roughly 60% of its water from the Metropolitan Water District, after being imported and treated from Northern California and the Colorado River. As of 2020, 34% came from local groundwater sources from the Verdugo and San Fernando Basins. Likewise, 7% is recycled water from the Los Angeles-Glendale Water Reclamation Plant.

More recently, the Metropolitan Water District declared a water shortage emergency after months of drought. Looking for more information? Check out Glendale’s water quality report here.
